Bhíomar ana bhródúil aistí. Maith thú a Bhrónagh.

Congratulations to Bronagh who played in the Primary Game at half time in the first round of the Football Championship in Páirc Uí Chaoimh recently. Bronagh has football in her blood as her Dad Tom Condon played many a football game in the County Colours and Tom also spent many years working with the Senior Footballers as part of the management team. We were very proud of her. Brónagh, well done!

Maratón Chorcaí ( Rás Sealaíochta)

Is imeacht bliantúil a bheidh sa Mharatón as seo amach gan dabht ar bith. Bhí an chraic go deo againn ar an lá agus bhaineamar go léir ana thaitneamh as. Díolachán Cístí

Bhí boladh breá bácála ag teacht as an Naíonra le deanaí le linn an díolachán cístí. Bhí rogha 's togha de chístí ar díol agus ba dheacair cinneadh a dhéanamh. Bhí am iontach ag daltaí na scoile nuair a thugadar cuairt ar an Díolachán. Míle buíochas libh go léir a thug cístí breátha isteach le díol agus libh go léir a tháinig chun tacaíocht a thabhairt dúinn agus na hearraí blasta a cheannach. Buíochas chomh maith le foireann an Naíonra a d'eagraigh an díolachán agus le na tuismitheoirí a tháinig isteach le cabhrú i rith an lae. Míle buíochas libh go léir.

Cake Sale

Mouth watering Aromas came from the Naíonra recently during our Annual Cake Sale. Cakes and buns of every size, shape, flavour and colour were on sale and decisions, decisions, decisions. The pupils were in their element trying to decide on a purchase. A big thank you all who supported us by baking and coming to buy. We appreciated all the support from our parents who came to lend a helping a hand during the day and to the staff in the Naíonra who organised the event.

Féile Peile Gael-Linn

Ghlac foireann Peile na Scoile páirt i bhFéile Peile Gael-linn le deanaí i gColáiste na Rinne. Bhí an caighdeán an árd an babhta seo agus cé gur imir siad ar a ndícheall ní raibh an t-ádh leo. Bhain an fhoireann agus daltaí rang 6 ana thaitneamh as na himeachtaí a bhí eagraithe sa tráthnóna mar chuid den Fhéile. Míle buíochas le foireann na scoile a chabhraigh le linn an chomórtais agus le Gael-linn a eagraigh an Féile. Comhgháirdeachas le foireann na Gaeltachta (An Rinn agus an Sean Phobal) a bhuaigh an Comóras agus maith sibh Scoil Gharbháin - beidh lá eile ag an bPaorach.

The school football team participated in the Féile Peile recently which was held in Coláiste na Rinne. The standard of football was extremely high and although the team played with spirit and kicked some excellent scores it was not their day. Rang 6 and the team thoroughly enjoyed the events organised by Gael-linn in the evening. A big thank you to the staff of Scoil Gharbháin who helped during the competition and to Gael-linn who organised the event. Congratulations to Foireann na Gaeltachta (An Rinn and An Sean Phobal) on winning the competition and well done to Scoil Gharbháin. Our day will come.

An Siúlóid Mór ar son Barnardos

Bhí daltaí an Naíonra ana mhorálach iontu féin an tseachtain seo caite agus iad ag tabhairt faoi n tsiúlóid mhóir le na seaicéidí glasa á gcaitheamh acu. Bhí siúlóid breá acu ar an mbóthar i dteannta foireann an Naíonra agus beidh an tairgead a bhailíodar á dtabhairt do Barnardos. Míle buíochas leo go léir.

Barnardos Big Toddle

Pupils from the Naíonra were very full of importance as they under took the Big Toddle in aid of Barnardos recently wearing their luminous jackets. In the company of the staff from the Naíonra the children set off on their big walk on the road. Monies raised will be donated to Barnardos. Well done to all.
